II. Verbal and Reading Comprehension
Verbal Aptitude Test. Verbal aptitude tests assess a person's ability:
- to spell words correctly,
- to use correct grammar,
- to understand word meanings,
- to understand word relationships and
- to interpret detailed written information.
Reading Comprehension Test. Reading Comprehension (RC) checks the level of understanding of a text/message. This understanding comes from the interaction between the words that are written and how they trigger knowledge outside the text/message.
